First hour

After the safety briefing and instructions we drive through through typical Spanish on-off road routes and dusty tracks heading towards the beautiful hills and mountains of the Sierra de Mijas, leading us to an old fisherman trade route.

Approximately 35 minutes into the drive, we arrive at a scenic viewpoint. Here, we experience the real Mediterranean lifestyle out in the campo and are rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, highlighted by the majestic “Red Mountain”. From this vantage point, you can see the charming village of Mijas, the coastal town of Fuengirola, and the impressive “Pico de Mijas”, which towers at 1,150 meters above sea level.

While you take in the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean coast we will serve a refreshing drink and give you time to dust off. But not for long!!

Second hour

Once we have finished our refreshments we continue through the marvellous Andalusian scenery, showing you some astonishing views whilst driving on a long off-road track through the Spanish rural outback, we will stop at a second viewpoint closer to the sea which gives you a 360 degree view over Fuengirola, La Cala de Mijas, Mijas Pueblo and the view of Gibraltar. If your lucky enough to be here on a clear day, you can even see Morocco and Sierra de las Nieves from here!

You will enjoy another refreshment and soak up some more spectacular views before we continue our tour.

The last leg

Finally we will visit an Eagle viewpoint before taking the scenic route down the mountains. On the route back we will show you the impact that forest fires, caused by the hot Spanish climate, have on the natural landscape.

The roads are practically deserted here, the sights are amazing and the drive down exhilarating to say the least!
